4 students (aged 9-11) from each school per team. The competition consists of 3 parts:
1) An online test will be sat on the 5th October 2016. Students will take the test individually, in their school, in exam conditions.
2) A long term challenge will take place, in which each team must create a video presenting their findings and share it on this site. The task will be released on 1st September and the deadline for submission will be the 30th September.
3) The team will complete a 2 hour group challenge, in which difficult problems will need to be solved. The challenges will be released on 6th October 2016.
The individual tests will be marked by the host school, the investigation videos will be judged by a cross-school panel and the group challenge will be scored by the number of problems completed successfully. Winners and results will be announced on 7th October 2016.
